Based in Dar es Salaam, we work alongside women, children and youth across Tanzania to build a fairer, more sustainable society.

Our story
Born from listening.
Malka Foundation Helper was established on 5 June 2024 by a small group of Tanzanians who had seen, again and again, how women and children carry the weight of discrimination, poverty and silence.
We started with a simple promise: connect with the community first, listen to the people most affected, and only then act. From that promise grew our work in anti-violence advocacy, reproductive health education, civic rights training, and grassroots economic activities like agriculture and animal husbandry.
Our long-term vision is shared with the people we serve — to see Tanzania become a society with sustainable development.
